2. Collection and Use of Information
a) Email Addresses
Collection: We collect and store on our secure servers user email addresses belonging to the Adult that downloads the App to create a unique account (“Account”). We do not collect or store any emails belonging to Minors.
Use: We do not and will not send spam, sell or rent any email address or Account information to third parties. We do not disclose, sell, share, trade or give away any user’s personal information to third parties, except as needed for completing payment and billing transactions through the services of payment processing vendors, if applicable.
b) Logging Statistics
By interacting with the App, the server automatically collects certain types of technical information. We use this information to maintain the quality and operation of the App and its functions and services. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and access platform.
c) IP Addresses
Internet Protocol addresses indicate the location of a user’s computers or mobile device on a network connected to the Internet. Providing services to you may result in the logging of IP addresses for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes. We do not log IP addresses to track your session, nor do we link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable.
d) Application Data
Certain application data (that is, the data you create and add to the Kindergarten Math Home application) is only stored locally on your device. We may collect and store certain user data on your device using application data caches, but we never share yours or any Minor’s data with any third party services or people. The user data we collect includes: 1) the Parent PIN; 2) the email address used to login; and 3) the current profile (both Parent and Child profiles). We collect this data so that you may login automatically when you restart the App. Application data is removed upon uninstallation of the App from the device.
Report Cards: A report card is generated for each Child Profile (see Section 3) when a Minor uses the App to complete a module or lesson. This report card tracks a progress and achievement in a particular lesson. Report cards are visible on Parent Profiles and Child Profiles, and Adults can only access and view the report cards of those Minors for whom the Adult created a Child Profile. We store data related to report cards on our servers to allow you to retain the report cards should you choose to uninstall and reinstall the application at a later time or on a different device.
3. Login Accounts; App Accounts
Adults may sign in through a Google Gmail account (“Login Account”), or other such login platform as may be later integrated with the App. Upon signing in, you may create your App Account, which will be set to “Parent Profile”. Under your App Account, you may also set up individual profiles for Minors, which will be set to “Child Profile”. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the details of your Login Account, including your password. You agree not to use the Login Account, username, or password of another in an attempt to impersonate, deceive or falsify your true identity. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your Login Account, or your App Account to access the Application. You are solely responsible for any and all use of your Login Account and App Account, including as used by the Minors you authorize on your Account.
a) Data Transfer
Movement of data between a user’s device and the server is entirely wrapped within an encrypted data link. Your data is as secure as the Login Account you use to enjoy the Application.
b) Data Storage
By your use of the App a limited amount of your data (text or images) is stored. This includes your name, your email address, and your profile image URL linked to your App Account and your contacts on the applicable login platform (i.e. Gmail).
To prevent unauthorized access, safeguard data accuracy, and maintain the appropriate use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, technical, and administrative procedures to protect the personal information data you submit. We make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems. However, since the Internet is not 100% secure and new technology evolves and emerges, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party interferences from illegally obtaining or tampering with your personal information.
We encourage you to help us by also taking precautions to protect your personal data when you use the App. Change your Account password often using a combination of letters, numbers, and characters, and make sure you use a secure connection.
We have put in place the appropriate parental gates to add a layer of protection for Minors. In order to toggle between the Parent Profile and Child Profile(s), the user is require to long-press the “Profile” button, to verify that he or she is in fact an Adult. Adults may choose an additional parental gate in their profile settings by creating a PIN that must be entered each time the Parent Profile would like to be accessed.
6. Privacy of Minors; Direct Notice to Parents and Parents’ Rights
We do not collect or store personally identifying data from or related to Minors. In the event that we do need to collect or store or otherwise use personally identifying data from or related to Minors, we will require the consent of the responsible Adult who downloads the App and creates a profile on behalf of a Minor, prior to collecting, using or disclosing personal information, if any, from Minors under your supervision. You may be asked to give your consent to Infinut’s collection and internal-only use of the Minor’s information. You may also be asked to give your consent to Infinut’s disclosure of such Minor’s information. You may give your consent by accepting these terms, if applicable, and when asked to provide consent. This consent may only apply to our use and collection of the Minor’s information while prohibiting the dissemination of this information to third parties.
From each Child Profile, we will specifically collect the profile name and the pre-suggested profile avatars tied to a particular profile (Adults may choose different profile avatars for multiple Minors to distinguish between them).
We will seek to obtain your consent in-App. If we do not receive consent within a reasonable amount of time, we will automatically assume consent is not given, and will act in accordance with this assumption.
This App allows for in-App purchases to subscriptions and any other products we may offer, as applicable. In-app purchases are only enabled on, and may only be made from Parent Profiles, and cannot be made from Child Profiles.
